A free 30-day demonstration copy is available if you qualify. This is a fully functional version — the only limitation is the number of days the software will work. A key criterion for qualifying is that you are asking for it as a business and not as an individual.
If you would like to apply for a demo version, please fill in the demo request form. You will need to agree to the Licence Agreement before submitting the form. If you are successful, we will send you a licence key by email. You will then be able to download the software and use it for the demonstration period. Demo process details.

The price per copy is:

This is a one-time fee — there is no annual maintenance. You must buy and pay for one copy for each concurrent user on a platform. Updates within the 1.xx series will be free.
Annual Subscription
Available only under Windows (not Linux).

You must buy and pay for one copy for each concurrent user on a platform. Updates within the subscription period are free.
Purchase Orders
A 10% discount applies to multiple copies in a single invoice.

Typically we will send an invoice via email that can be paid by bank transfer or check. We will also send a temporary key for the software. Once your payment clears we will send the permanent key. Licence
In order to demo or buy Portfolio Probe, you need to agree to the software licence.
Academic Program
Portfolio Probe is available for free to qualifying academic departments. Typically eligible departments include:
- Finance and Economics departments of accredited universities
- Successful business schools
Upon acceptance into the program you will be given a key that allows use of Portfolio Probe until some specific date. This key may be used by your faculty and students for:
- research
- class exercises
The academic key is not to be used for actually managing money. You must agree to the Academic Licence Agreement
